According to a report spotted by Kami.com.ph, in Marawi City, where the Maute group had been so concentrated in their attacks, the evacuation of the residents has started

Reports from Marawi City also stated that attack helicopters are overhead, in light of the ongoing firefight between AFP and Maute group members in Brgy. Kilala and Brgy. Malutlut.
In Brgy. Gadungan, still in Marawi City, the Maute group has reportedly taken control of LASURECO (Lanao del Sur Electric Cooperative) compound.
