Veteran actor John Regala shocked people buying their groceries when he suddenly suffered from high blood pressure outside Savemore Zapote Supermarket in Cavite.

Facebook user Bhadloy Lopez posted photos of the actor where he was seen sitting weak on along the stairs. A man was also seen helping the actor who was too tired to even stand up.

Lopez wrote in the caption:

"John regala inatake sa savemore sa sapote kanina .."

According to a report of Pep.ph, the incident happened at around 3:45 p.m. and the actor was then rushed to the hospital.

Through online messaging, Lopez said:

“Nanikip po ang dibdib niya and nahirapang huminga.”

John played the role of Congressman Randoolph Subito in ABS CBN series 'Ang Probinsyano'. He has been known for playing villain roles and was even dubbed as "bad boy" alongside Robin Padilla and Ace Vergel.

John is also a Christian minister and an environmentalist working as the CEO of Project Green Evolution Inc.
