Unknown to many, Bea Alonzo used to be a beauty contestant before she pursued showbiz.
The Kapamilya actress was discovered by a fashion designer while joining a pageant and became the celebrity that she is now.
She was then encouraged to audition for Star Circle, which paved the way of her stardom.

To prove if the British-Filipina has what it takes to be a beauty queen, just like her co-star in one of her first TV shows Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, Star Magic threw several pageant questions at her.
The lead star of the upcoming series "A Love to Last" gamely answered like a real queen.

*What is success for you?
“For me success is being able to invite something in the world. Contribute something to the world, be the right example, especially to the youth.”
*If you will be winning the crown tonight, what is the first thing that you will do?
“The first thing that I would do is go hug my mom and thank her for everything that I know, for being the empowered woman that she is and for raising me well.”
*What is the essence of being a woman?
“It’s to become a mother. Being able to conceive is already a miracle of its own; And also being able to inspire man. Bcause as the saying goes, ‘Behind every successful man is a strong woman."
