Pinoy thieves steal bag with P90K in Divisoria

The Advent season should be all about preparing for Christmas by giving, loving and caring for others. However, many Filipinos seem to have mistaken the season as a season for stealing.

A CCTV footage showing three Pinoy thieves stealing a bag containing P90K in cash from a stall owner in a shopping mall has shocked the online community.
According to GMA News, the incident took place in 168 Mall in Divisoria, Manila.

The video shows the three thieves – one male and two females – conspiring with each other in stealing the bag.
The male was the one who reached inside the steal and grabbed the bag; one female acted as the lookout while another female took the bag from the man and placed it inside a plastic bag.

Many other incidents of theft and pickpocketing in Divisoria have also been recorded in recent days.
Netizens slammed the thieves for taking advantage of the shopping spree in Manila to steal. They also urged the government to increase their efforts in preventing these crimes.
“Kapag marami ang mamimili, dumarami rin ang mga magnanakaw. Dapat mas tindihan ang police presence sa mga malls,” a social media user pointed out.
(When there are plenty of shoppers, the number of thieves also increases. There should be a greater police presence in malls.)
