In an Instagram post made by Star Cinema, the Filipino film and television production company, has expressed their gratitude for the support the their newest movie, The Third Party.
According to Star Cinema, The Third Party, the newest rom-com top-billed by Angel Locsin, Sam Milby, and Zanjoe Marudo under Star Cinema, has already grossed a whopping P110 million worldwide.
Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, this realistically modern love triangle revolves around the diversity of love, other than the boy-girl type.
The story of fashion designer portrayed by Angel Locsin, and the unusual twist to her hope for a second chance with her ex-boyfriend Max (played by Sam Milby) who was already with Christian (Zanjoe Marudo).
According to movie director Jason Paul Laxamana, "It's not your usual boy-girl [story]. So it's just to show people na meron din ganitong klaseng situation na love and these people, kahit na medyo off-beat yung situation nila, they experience the same phases as we do."
"I-enjoy lang natin yung diversity of love," says Laxamana.
"The Third Party" opened in theaters worldwide on October 12 and made its first P10-M.
