Noli De Castro draws flak after awkward interview with Kylie Verzosa

After a very awkward and cringe-worthy interview with newly crowned Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Veteran broadcaster and former Vice President Noli De Castro drew flak on social media because of his awkward questions.
During the broadcast of TV Patrol on October 28, the broadcaster asked the beauty queen if she currently has a boyfriend.

With confidence, Kylie answered, “No, korona lang (No, just a crown).”
De Castro responded, “Lungkot naman niyan (That’s sad).”
When De Castro was about to end the interview, Kylie said, “No, hindi siya malungkot (it’s not sad). No, of course not! The crown is only once in a lifetime.”

Just when you thought Noli’s questions were awkward enough, the broadcaster even added that Kylie may have gained more suitors and admirers for winning the crown.
Kylie was smart enough to just laugh at the remark of Noli.
With her beauty and intelligence, Kylie bested 68 other contestants and got the crown as Miss International. She is also the 6th Filipina to get the Miss International title.
The Philippines won the last Miss International pageant in 2013 with Bea Rose Santiago.
Many netizens said De Castro was unprofessional during the interview, which was described was odd and painful to watch.

TV Host and former Ateneo volleyball star Gretchen Ho tweeted, “This Noli De Castro-Kylie Verzosa conversation on TVP is hilarious.”
Other netizens said that Kylie did not deserve such interview; nevertheless, she was able to handle it with class and grace.
