It’s not unusual for kids to back from their summer holidays totally transformed, but 15 year old Tyler’s schoolmates were in for quite the shocker.
That September Tyler Kelly didn’t arrive to school, but students greeted their new classmate Kairah Kelly.
Tyler was born as a boy, but he felt uncomfortable in his body. The poor kid struggled with his gender identity all his life but only in 2015 did he let his friends and family know that he identified as female.
Kairah, previously Tyler, admitted that he often imagined himself as a girl, and would put on skirts, make up and female attire as a child.
However, his parents had to put a stop to their child’s strange habit, worrying for his safety. "They didn't understand who I was. We lived in a rough area and they thought I would be bullied," Kairah said.
However Kairah states that she finally feels happy now when looking in the mirror. He adds that everyone was extremely supportive of his coming out.
He came out as homosexual to his parents and friends as bisexual at the young age of 11 and two years later he stated that he was homosexual.
"I didn't feel confident after coming out as gay. I felt like there was something missing," Kairah adds.
Kairah admits that it was a bit scary at first but to his surprise everybody was very accepting of the drastic change in the young man’s life.
Now that Kairah began life as a girl he hopes that he will be soon able to take hormone treatment and be given gender identity treatment.
As soon as Tyler turned to Kairah he instantly knew after whom he would fashion his new self. By adding long black hair extension, skinny jeans and sexy tops the young girl soon became a Kim Kardashian look alike.
Kairah said: "I love the glamorous look and I've always been a fan of the Kardashians. They were happy and comfortable with themselves and that's what I've always wanted."
