Joross Gamboa jokes about his video scandal

During the pictorial for Juan Happy Love Story last Thursday, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was able to ask Joross Gamboa about the video scandal which became viral earlier this year.

The actor good-naturedly responded with “Napanood niyo? O, di close na tayo! (Have you seen it? Then that makes us close!)”.

The actor was very candid about his answers and admitted that he regrets the video but that everything is already in the past and he had learned from the incident. PEP also asked about the reaction of his non-showbiz wife Katz Saga. "Hindi siya naano kasi alam niyang matagal na yun (She was not affected because she knows that was a long time ago),” Joross shared.

"Siyempre naiiyak din ako nun tapos nangyari pa yun pauwi kami, sabi ko, ‘Bakit hindi ito nangyari bago ako umalis para… (Of course, I was also crying then since it happened when we were on our way home. I told myself 'Why didn't this happen before we left so...)" the 31-year-old actor said, recounting that the scandal was released in the web while the couple was on their vacation at the USA.

He added that he and his wife just prayed together to get through the issue. Today, he just laughs about it and even says that it adds to his popularity. He even jokes that it made him more desirable in the eyes of many.

When asked if he has any advice for other men who might also face the same situation, Joross said that there's really nothing he can say to stop a person from doing things but just reminded that "Ang temptasyon, hindi ‘yan nilalabanan, tinatakbuhan ‘yan (You shouldn't fight temptation, you run away from it.),"

Today, the actor says that he is happily married and thankful that his wife had always been very forgiving. Joross will be starring with Heart Evangelista at Dennis Trillo at GMA 7's Juan Happy Love Story.
