Kris Aquino shared a candid and humorous glimpse into her hopes for her son Bimby Aquino’s future love life during her conversation with Boy Abunda on GMA’s Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.

During the discussion, Kris was asked about the possibility of Bimby eventually having a girlfriend and getting married. The television personality responded by revealing one particular quality she hopes her future daughter-in-law will have, while acknowledging that her answer might sound superficial.
Kris said she prays that the girl Bimby eventually chooses will be beautiful. She immediately recognized that the comment could be interpreted as shallow, but explained that she was speaking from the perspective of a mother thinking about her son’s future and the family name he will carry.
“Pinagdarasal ko talaga, sana maganda ‘yung girl. I’m sorry. I know it sounds na parang, ‘Wow. She hasn’t changed. Medyo mababaw!’ Pero ‘di ba Boy kasi, Bimb is the one who will carry on the Cojuangco-Aquino last name… I’m sure hindi siya magmamahal ng someone na pangit ang ugali. Pero you know, baka magpa-cute pa-cute lang tapos nag-make up, eh paano ‘pag nawala ‘yung makeup tapos hindi siya gano’n kaganda?”

She said the young women she has met who have been around Bimby so far have impressed her with both their appearance and intelligence.
“So far, all the girls that I’ve met, all are pretty. And all are smart.”
Kris’ comments then shifted toward what she believes matters more in Bimby’s future relationship: the kind of person he is and the life he deserves to have.
She emphasized that Bimby should not spend his entire life focused solely on taking care of his mother. Kris said she wants her son to experience life independently, including having a romantic relationship and eventually building his own family.
“He deserves a life. His life should not just revolve around taking care of his mama.”
Kris went on to praise her son’s qualities as a potential partner and husband. She said the woman who eventually becomes Bimby’s girlfriend and wife would be particularly fortunate because of his caring and loving nature.
“Anyone who will become Bimb’s girlfriend and his wife in the future, sinasabi ko na naka-jackpot ‘yung babaeng ‘yon kasi maalaga si Bimb, mapagmahal, and I am so definite na he will be one-hundred percent faithful.”
