Singer Kris Lawrence opened up about the possibility of a new chapter with former partner Katrina Halili, saying he would not squander a second chance in love if it comes his way.

During an appearance on ABS-CBN’s “Hot Takes,” Kris spoke candidly about the improvements in his relationship with Katrina and the positive impact it has had on their daughter, Katie.
Kris and Katrina ended their romantic relationship in 2014 but continued to share parenting responsibilities for their daughter. In recent years, the two have reconnected and focused on building a healthier co-parenting setup.
According to Kris, their renewed cooperation has made a tremendous difference in Katie’s well-being.

“I’m very, very grateful that we’re co-parenting a hundred percent and everything is so beautiful right now. Katie’s smile is so much better; it’s so genuine. It almost feels like she does not have autism. I believe it’s because the energy is all back and it’s all whole now,” Kris said.
“Now she feels love from both parents. I’m there every single day. She sees that me and Kat are happy. The fact that me and Kat are happy, it trickles down to her and it makes her feel secured and loved. The magnitude is just phenomenal,” he added.
When asked whether he would be willing to give love another chance now that things are going well between them, Kris admitted that he would welcome the opportunity.
“I mean, I’m already here, right? I think the fact that Kat let me in, because last year was a rough year, it was a super rough year. I think she was going through something. I just wasn’t given the chance to be there for Katie,” he shared.
“But this year, whatever clicked in her head and let her make the decision. You know what, let’s let bygones be bygones and magtulungan tayo for Katie,” Kris continued.
The singer then made it clear that if fate gives him another chance, he intends to treasure it.
“If I am given a second chance, it’s something that I am not going to mess up. Something that I’m not going to mess up,” he said.
Although Kris stopped short of confirming whether he and Katrina have rekindled their romance, his statements have fueled speculation among fans who have long been hoping for a reconciliation between the former couple.
Katrina Halili first gained fame after emerging as the very first “Ultimate StarStruck Survivor” and has since become one of the most reliable actresses in Philippine television drama.
