In a much-anticipated guesting on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, Barbie Imperial finally broke her silence regarding her relationship with Richard Gutierrez. The actress addressed the heavy accusations from critics who labeled her a "third party" in the high-profile split between Richard and his estranged wife, Sarah Lahbati.

During the heart-to-heart talk, Ogie pointed out that many people on social media still insist she was the "number two," even though Richard and Sarah had already parted ways prior.
Barbie responded firmly, stating, "Opo, wala na po sila nun. Hindi ko lang po sigurado, tito, yung exact month na naghiwalay sila. Pero yung amin po ni Richard nag-start nung nagpunta po kami ng Tipsy Pig."
Barbie admitted that this experience was one of the toughest challenges she has faced in her life.

She shared, "Feeling ko po, tito, yung pinakamalalang bashing sakin is ito po talaga, yung relationship ko po with Chard. Dito po yung medyo na-depress ako."
She explained that her silence was intentional to avoid making things worse for everyone involved.
"Hindi po ako makapagsalita nung time na yun kasi ayoko rin pong makakuha ng reaction from Sarah, parang ayaw ko pong mag-trigger-an kami, so hinahayaan ko lang po yung panahon na makapag-forgive sila sa isa't isa, na gumaan yung loob nung mga taong involved," she explained.
Barbie also showed a lot of maturity when discussing the backlash she received online. She mentioned that the public's reaction was "valid" because Richard and Sarah shared 11 beautiful years together. However, she emphasized that the truth is between her and God.
"Kung ano man yung rason nung hiwalayan nilang dalawa, masasabi ko po and alam ng Diyos po na hindi ako yun," she said.
