BINI member Aiah Arceta, a proud Cebuana, took to social media to express her concern for her family, friends, and fellow Cebuanos following the powerful earthquake that struck Cebu on September 30.

On her Instagram stories, Aiah shared an update card from ABS-CBN News showing details about the quake’s aftermath.
The earthquake, which had a magnitude of 6.9 and was of tectonic origin, hit at 9:59 p.m. on September 30 with a depth of 5 kilometers. Its epicenter was recorded 19 kilometers northeast of Bogo City, Cebu. According to Phivolcs, the tremor was felt across seven regions, spanning from Bicol to the Zamboanga Peninsula.

Alongside the post, the P-pop star penned a heartfelt message: “To my family, friends, and everyone who are in Cebu, I hope you are all safe!!!”

BINI is an all-girl Pinoy pop group formed by ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy. The group is composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. In November 2020, they released their pre-debut single “Da Coconut Nut.”
