Zsa Zsa Padilla, a veteran actress and singer, recently took to social media to mourn the passing of a fellow respected actor and industry colleague Ricky Davao, who just died at the age of 63.
On Friday, May 2, Zsa Zsa posted a black-and-white photo of Ricky on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt tribute that reflected their shared memories and deep friendship over the years.

At the beginning of her post, Zsa Zsa called Ricky "everyone's buddy" and recalled how their bond began while working together in Familia Zaragoza, where they portrayed siblings on the show.
"Since then, I've always fondly called him 'brother.' In 1997, he became Tony Javier to my Paula Marasigan in the stage adaptation of Larawan, staged at the CCP. We did a total of ten shows, working closely together during that time," Zsa Zsa told netizens in her heartfelt tribute.

Zsa Zsa also recalled the "last time" she saw the actor, which happened during a birthday party.
"The last time I saw him, we were celebrating a birthday from our group chat — just like always, full of laughter and warm memories," the actress-singer fondly recalled about Ricky in her post.
In her post, Zsa Zsa continued by confessing that Ricky's passing has made her heart feel heavy.
"Now, hearing of the passing of another artist makes my heart grow heavy. Ricky was a very good actor — dedicated and professional," she told netizens on Friday, May 2, on her Instagram page.
In closing, Zsa Zsa expressed her sympathies to Ricky's family and acknowledged his legacy.
"Ricky is a great loss to the movie industry. His presence will be missed on stage, television and in the movies. May you rest in peace, brother. My deepest condolences to all the loved ones left behind. And thank you for the joy you brought in every role you portrayed — on stage, on television, and in film."
