Magpasikat is an annual talent competition on the Filipino show It's Showtime, where the hosts compete against each other. It started on October 23, 2010, as part of the show's anniversary celebration and has become a yearly tradition. The teams, formed through random draws, perform throughout the week, with judges scoring their performances. The team with the highest score wins a cash prize for their chosen charity, and other teams get consolation prizes. Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz have won the most times, followed by Karylle and Jhong Hilario.
In a previous report by KAMI, Vice Ganda has recently addressed the rumors surrounding Jackie Gonzaga. On "It's Showtime," Vice and Jackie were paired up, prompting Vice to tease Jackie. In the show, Vice was heard asking Jackie not to move too much because of her 'condition.' This, in return, prompted Jackie and the other co-hosts to laugh afterward.
Vice Ganda also decided to hop on the 'Hands Up On Your Hip' trend. However, Vice did the challenge with a twist, opting to dance with his mother, Nanay Rosario. In the video, Nanay Rosario jived to the song first before Vice followed suit. Needless to say, many found it funny to see Vice and Nanay Rosario doing the viral challenge.
