Danny Javier of the Apo Hiking Society has already passed away.
He died on Oct. 31, 2022, and the news was confirmed by many of his friends on social media.
Danny is a respected singer and composer and is considered one of the respected pillars in the music industry in the Philippines.
Justine Javier Long, the daughter of Danny, confirmed on Facebook the passing of her father.

According to her post, his death was due to "complications due to his prolonged illnesses."
"In life, as in his death, our Pop never stopped fighting for what he loved, what he believed in and what he was passionate about. He left this world with his passion and his strength of will intact and we know he would not have it any other way," she wrote.
