The actress is engaged to actor and model Derek Ramsay, regarded as one of the most attractive celebrities in the Philippines. Their wedding is supposed to take place before the year ends.
In her trademark frank attitude, Ellen said she had unattractive boyfriends before but not now.
“Meron akong mga naging boyfriend na pangit noon pero ngayon, at this time, mas gusto ko yung gwapo,” Ellen replied.

She then went on to explain that in a relationship, there would always be petty quarrels that can stress you out a bit and cause you a “bad trip.”

If her boyfriend is handsome, then it would calm her down a bit somehow.
“Pag nag-away kayo, mapapatingin ka sa kanya at masasabi mo sa ‘yong sarili na ‘ang gwapo pala ng boyfriend ko,’ at kahit papano malilimutan mo ng konti ang iyong problema,” Ellen explained.
She also said having a handsome boyfriend would make one’s day lighter.
“It makes your day lighter, ang gandang tingnan, di ba? It helps,” she further said.
Ellen Meriam Go Adarna, or simply Ellen Adarna as she is known in the showbiz industry, is a Pinay actress and model. She was born on April 2, 1988 to businessman Allan Modesto Adarna and Meriam Go. Her family is among the most prominent and affluent clans in Cebu City, being the owners of a chain of hotels, condominium buildings, resorts, and motels located not only in Cebu province but also in Davao and Manila.
