Prior to her post, the veteran actress hit back at Mayor Isko Moreno, who ranted against VP Leni Robredo.

Because of Isko's rant, she called him as "mababaw."

"Ang babaw yorme. Yan lang ang kaya mong isipin at sabihin? Kung hindi mo makita ang buti sa mga sinabi ni VP, kakahiya ka naman," said Rita.

Rita Avila is a veteran Filipina actress. She is married to Erick Reyes, a director. They had a baby but he died three weeks from birth.

Rita Avila was not able to contain her anger after a basher maliciously called her as "kulelat" when it comes to acting. Aside from that, the basher also said that the actress simply relies on her husband to land a role. This irked the actress and tried to straighten things up on social media. She said that her husband is not the one choosing who will be the cast of a teleserye.

A senior citizen who fainted while lining up at the community pantry that Angel Locsin setup has died. The actress took to Instagram, said it was her fault, and said sorry to the family and also promised that she will help them. One of those who responded to her post was actress Rita Avila. The veteran actress assured Angel that what happened was not her fault at all.
