Veteran broadcaster Noli de Castro bid farewell to ABS-CBN as he is about to once more join the senatorial race for 2022 elections.
He said his farewell on Teleradyo on Thursday, making it his last day on the said program.
"Sorry to say na ito ho ang huling araw ko na dito sa TeleRadyo for so many years," said Noli de Castro.
“Ako po ay makikipagsapalaran sa bagong uri ng panunungkulan, pero tuloy-tuloy ang ating public service. Itong pagkakataong na ito ay mas magiging malawak na po ang isasagawa kong public service kung susuwertehin sa tulong na rin po ninyo,” said De Castro.

De Castro was the vice president in 2004. Thereafter, he had an 11-year break from politics.
He is joining Mayor Isko Moreno's Aksyon Demokratiko party, and has already taken his oath.
Noli de Castro is one of the most seasoned broadcasters in the Philippines. He also served as the Vice President of the country during the term of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Korina Sanchez recently recollected the time when she was still one of the anchors of TV Patrol. She took to Instagram to share a throwback of her with her co-anchors Noli de Castro and Ted Failon in the studio of the said news program. Noli then commented on her post where he admitted to missing the three of them working together. He even said in jest that “there is no forever” which Korina immediately reacted.
Noli de Castro was present on the last episode of the news program entitled “TV Patrol.” He was able to interview people about the controversial closure of the Kapamilya network. On the latter part of the broadcast, the said anchor gave a message to the public. He tried to contain his emotions while expressing gratitude for the support from many people.
