Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Axel Torres was AJ’s boyfriend for more than one year. According to a report by ABS-CBN News, AJ said in a digital conference last August that Axel doesn’t want her to portray daring roles that’s why they broke up. "Hindi po ako magsisinungaling. 'Yun po ang pinaka-reason. Gusto ko pong ipagpatuloy ang karera ko. Gusto ko pong sumugal sa karera ko kaysa sa love life," she shared.
Sean de Guzman
AJ revealed that Sean de Guzman was another reason for her split with Axel. In a report by Philstar.com, AJ said that Axel felt jealous of Sean, her “Taya” co-star. "Hindi na po ako magsisinungaling, pero kasali na rin po si Sean. Pinagselosan po si Sean,” she opened up in August 2021.

AJ recently revealed the real score between her and the actor. During PEP.ph’s “On The Spot Challenge,” she openly admitted that she is indeed being courted by the estranged husband of Kylie Padilla.
