After winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 competition, Beatrice Luigi Gomez became more popular. The Cebu representative bested well-known competitors in the aforementioned pageant such as Maureen Wroblewitz, Steffi Aberasturi, and Kisses Delavin. Bea has a girlfriend named Kate Jagdon and is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
