In the said mediacon, the Asia's Nightingale cried while talking about her grandson who recently passed away.
She also narrated about a heartbreaking moment when she saw her daughter carrying the lifeless body of the latter’s son.

“Ang hindi ko talaga maintindihan na parang, 'yung makita ko 'yung agony ng anak ko na hawak-hawak niya 'yung lifeless son niya, 'yun ang hindi ko talaga mati-take.”
The singer said she can handle getting sick but seeing that heartbreaking image of her daughter and her grandson is too much for her.
“She was there in the hospital and then naka-video call kami, 'yun talaga hindi ko makaya. Okay na sa 'kin na nagkasakit kami, nakayanan namin 'yon nalampasan namin 'yon pero 'yung image sa akin na sa utak ko hindi ko mabura – nakita ko 'yung anak ko and 'yung son-in-law ko na they were in the hospital... She has her son in her arms na wala na.”

Lani Misalucha, dubbed as “Asia’s Nightingale,” is one of the most acclaimed singers in the Philippines. She also serves as one of the judges of “The Clash” – a Kapuso singing contest.
Lani revealed that her hearing loss in one ear might have become a permanent disability. The singer was told by her doctor before that her hearing would be restored in about six months but the condition suddenly worsened. Her hearing loss has also made her lose her balance and equilibrium. She lost her hearing in one ear after getting infected by bacterial meningitis.
She also became the talk of the town when she asked Raffy Tulfo’s help in solving one of the problems that she is experiencing. The complaint was against a booking agent who allegedly took away more than P100,000 from her.
