According to the actress, she was supposed to wear the dress in a civil wedding ceremony just in case her church wedding with Perry Choi on September 25 was postponed again.
“Do you recall when it was announced that it was GCQ and then back to MECQ after hours? We were already pushing for a traditional wedding until it was snatched away from us. So, in order to move forward with our wedding, we decided to go with a civil ceremony. I immediately called my @beyondwhiteweddings fam and asked if she could produce a civil wedding dress for me in 10 days because I didn't want to burden Mak Tumang with another one. And, voila! The dress was completed on time!”
“Then there was the day when it was announced that we would be placed under GCQ Alert Level 4 status. With a 10% capacity, the Church officially opened its doors for wedding ceremonies. We finally (again) pushed for a conventional wedding after much deliberation with our families and relatives.”

According to Kris, she was still able to wear the said dress on her wedding day.
“But, I was concerned about this dress not being worn, so I made certain that I would get to wear it on my big day.”

Kris and Perry Choi’s much-awaited wedding has finally happened after several times of postponement. The beautiful ceremony filled with sunflowers took place at St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Magallanes Village, Makati City. The actress let the public witness their big day by airing a livestream on her YouTube channel.
The actress walked down the aisle wearing an astounding bridal ball gown. Her gown was beautifully designed by prominent Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang. On his Instagram Stories, the fashion designer shared some post giving glimpses of the actress' wedding gown.
