- Cherry Pie Purisima revealed that she came to know the wedding coordinator who was not able to book the reception venue through Facebook

- She said that she got convinced after reading favorable comments on the social media platform

- According to the bride, she has already paid the P65,000 in full to the wedding coordinator, having made negotiations in February of this year but started paying the initial installment in June

- Cherry paid the remaining balance of P3,800 on Tuesday, Sept. 21, which is the day before the wedding

Cherry Pie Purisima, the viral bride who got scammed and ended up crying outside the wedding reception venue, revealed in Cebu Daily News of Inquirer that she came to know the wedding coordinator after conducting a search on Facebook.

She saw the favorable comments about the said wedding coordinator and eventually hired his services.

According to Cherry, they have already paid the coordinator in full, to the tune of P65,000, reported Aksyon Radyo.

They negotiated with the coordinator in February but started with the down payment in June.

She last saw the coordinator at her home on the day of her wedding.

He simply asked her to leave to buy wine but did not ever return.

It was during the reception that she broke down because when they arrived at the venue, it was closed since it was not booked.

Sunstar also reported that the wedding coordinator tried to take his own life.
