The interview, which occurred several days ago, was done on the host’s YouTube channel and show, “The Best Talk.”

Near the end of the interview, Abunda went into his show’s trademark segment, “fast talk.”

He asked a series of questions first before asking for Janine’s opinion whether people with pending corruption and plunder cases should be allowed to become electoral candidates.

“Sa iyong opinion, Janine, dapat bang payagang tumakbo ang isang taong may corruption or plunder case?” Abunda asked.

Before giving out her answer, Janine first pointed out that ordinary people looking for work should first secure an NBI clearance.

“Ah diba Tito Boy, kapag sa trabaho, hindi ka matatanggap kung wala kang NBI clearance?” Janine began her answer with a question.

An NBI clearance given to a particular person proves that such individual has no pending criminal cases against him or her.

The actress then expressed her opinion that since such is the case with persons trying to land a job, the same thing should be observed for people seeking elective positions.

“So, siguro, maybe it should be the same for everyone kung merong mga outstanding na hindi pa saradong kaso or things like that,” Janine opined.

He said, however, that he will do his best to take care of the cake.
