Paolo Contis apologized to Aki, the son of LJ Reyes with Paulo Avelino. For a long time, Aki has considered Paolo like a father, as based on what LJ has revealed.
The actor sincerely apologized to Aki and said how he wished that he could have listened to Aki more and that he should have listened to him more.
"To Aki, I wish I could’ve done things differently and listened to you more. I’m sorry I failed you."
It can be recalled that the split rumors between LJ and Paolo was triggered when Paolo deleted all the photos of LJ from his account.

LJ Reyes made her first post on her IG Stories right after she publicly admitted that she and Paolo Contis have already separated. In the said interview, she said that she started to feel that Paolo has become so distant and when she asked him if he would take them back, he simply refused. She took to Instagram and posted a simple thank you message. In her IG stories, she posted a photo of something woven and it was described as "sustainable packaging." On IG, she posted "A big thank you" along with the logo of Wonder Jane, the brand of cosmetics that she has established. There is no other description as to what or whom she was thanking, except that the post came about in the midst of Cristy Fermin confirming that it was indeed Paolo Contis and Yen Santos in the video.
