In a report by GMA News Network, Paolo said during the virtual press con that if there is one thing he learned from “Nico,” it is that not everything stays like it is forever.

He said that the best thing for anyone to do under the circumstances is to give their all while the object of their affection is still there.

If one does that, at the end of the day, he would not feel deep remorse over things he could have done while there is still time.

“Kung merong matututo kay Nico - ako ‘yon or tayo ‘yon, is you live once, you give your all because at the end of the day, win, lose, or draw, wala kang pagsisisi sa sarili mo,” Paolo said.

In a separate report by PhilStar News, Paolo said that the scenes in the movie, particularly the one where “Nico” had to leave his loved one behind, helped him realize there are many uncertainties in life.

“Hindi lahat ng bagay pang habambuhay. Mayroong mga maiiksi pero sobrang precious. Merong maiksi pero sobrang tatatak sa’yo and it will make you a better person in the future,” Paolo explained during the virtual press conference for the new movie.

He also pointed out some contrasts and similarities between him and the character he portrayed in the movie.

“Si Paolo, tago ang emosyon sa buhay. ‘Di tulad ni Nico na masyadong lover boy, masyadong in love agad 'saka masyadong honest,” the actor said.

He pointed out, though, that he and the character he portrays were almost the same in some aspects like being naughty.

Recently, the actor and his rumored split with partner, LJ Reyes, hugged the headlines.

An Inquirer News report has quoted veteran columnist, Lolit Solis, that the two had indeed split, though Paolo and LJ still have to give their reaction to the rumors.

Paolo Enrico Tusi Contis, or Paolo Contis, is a Filipino actor and comedian of Italian descent who appeared in his acting debut as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV". He was born on March 14, 1984. Contis is half-Italian (from his father) and half-Filipino (from his mother). He was a popular child actor where he already appeared in various movies during the mid-1990s. Despite being cast in the popular teleserye "Mara Clara", Contis was better known for being part of the primetime sitcom "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards.

LJ Reyes recently stunned netizens after she answered a question about what could end a good relationship. During one of the recent episodes of "Mars Pa More", LJ and Camille Prats were playing a game alongside Jelai Andres and Divine Aucina. Among the questions they received was if they ever made a huge mistake in the past which affected a relationship they had. According to LJ, she has not yet ruined a good relationship but said that perhaps her "mapilit" attitude could ruin a relationship.

Veteran columnist, Lolit Solis, on the other hand, also aired her thoughts on the things that appear on the news regarding Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes. She said that the news brings sadness to her in her post prior to confirmation of the separation of the two. The veteran showbiz columnist stated that she really thought that LJ is "the one" of Paolo considering that they have been together for a long time now. Lolit then speculated what could have happened and why, and said that it's possible that romance is gone.
