Gabbi Garcia, in a Twitter post, called out netizens who are fond of shaming the bodies of other people they deem as too chubby.

The actress said that instead of indulging in body shaming, people should just focus on the positive aspect of things.

She also called out the penchant of some to associate the weight gain of a girl with being pregnant.

“’Ang taba mo,’ ‘chubby ka na,’ ‘buntis ka ba,’” were some of the statements being made by others who indulge in body shaming, according to the actress.

She then asked everyone to just stop and refrain from indulging in body shaming.

“Omaygad can we all stop & take a break from body shaming?” Gabbi said.

The actress then asked everyone reading her tweet if getting chubby and stress-eating during lockdown is prohibited.

“Bawal tumaba at mag stress eat ng lockdown? Bawal maging bloated?” she asked.

Gabbi then lamented the tendency of some to always look for a “beach body” type of physique.

“Kailangan beach body forever?” the actress asked in her tweet.

She then called out those who are fond of engaging in body shaming, saying that times have changed and they should just instead focus on character development.

Gabbi Garcia, or Gabriella Louise Ortega Lopez in real life, is a Pinay actress and recording artist. She was born on December 2, 1998 and is presently an artist of GMA Network. She landed her first acting role with My Destiny as Nicole Perez and as Pia Sta. Maria in the movie Let The Love Begin. She then played the role of Sang’gre Alena in the TV series Encantadia, giving her a massive boost and launching her to greater fame.

Previously, Gabbi shared some personal details about herself in her vlog. Among the things that many don’t know about her is that she was named after Filipino heroine Gabriella Silang. She also said that her mother thought the baby inside her womb was a boy. The actress said she wanted everyone to take a peek at her personal life so they would know her better.

She also shared videos on social media that made her followers laugh. In one of the videos, the actress and her boyfriend, Khalil Ramos, can be seen testing their balance. Khalil, however, went down face first towards the floor while they are filming the video. Netizens then took to the comments section to react hilariously to the couple’s funny clip.
