Daniel Padilla, during an interview with talk show host, Boy Abunda, admitted that he once committed a grave mistake when he and Kathryn were just starting out.

The actor was Abunda’s guest in his show, which can be found on his YouTube channel.
The topics ranged from becoming a father in the future to how he is as a boyfriend to actress Kathryn Bernardo.
The two then discussed the topic of betrayal and how would he handle such.

“Traydurin man ako o i-betray, it’s okay. It’s part of love. It’s part of relationship. Parte ng buhay natin ‘yun,” DJ said.
He then said that the most difficult and painful part of it all is when you cannot bring back whatever was lost in the process.
“Pero ‘yung hindi mo na kayang ibalik kasi nawala na, pinakamasakit,” the actor said.
Abunda then asked him if he can forgive those he loves in case any of them betrays him.
“Kapag ako trinaydor at may ginawang mali, kaya kong patawarin ‘yung tao na ‘yun kasi para sa ‘kin rin ‘yun,” DJ said, adding that if he will not forgive, then he would be lost.
He then revealed that it already happened when he and Kathryn were still young, but his longtime girlfriend opted to forgive him.
“Nagkamali ako before, I was a kid. I was stupid, ‘di ba? Still tinanggap niya ako nang buo,” Daniel revealed.
DJ and Kathryn Bernardo have been together for nine years now.

In the interview with talk show host Boy Abunda, the actor was asked what is in store for him and his girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo. According to the Kapamilya actor, they had an upcoming teleserye which he did not name. Daniel also said that they will soon have a meeting for an undisclosed movie project.
More recently, the actor was reminded by his mother, Karla Estrada, not to detest or loathe her feet. Earlier, Karla posted on IG showing the actress resting her leg on the thighs of her son, DJ, with one foot directly in his line of sight. The actor, who was slouching on a couch and looking at his mobile phone appearing to detest the act of his mother. Karla might have secretly snapped a photo of that particular instance and took to Instagram to post it with the caption humorously chiding his son not to hate her feet.
