KAMI learned that Boy asked James if he is ready to see his ex-girlfriend Nadine Lustre with a new romantic partner.
“Since you and Nadine are both single, are you ready to see her with a new suitor?” Boy asked James.
James replied that anyone in his situation would not be excited to see his or her ex with somebody new. However, he clarified that it is not up to him if Nadine will have a new boyfriend and that he wishes her to be happy if she decides to be in a new relationship.
“I don’t think anyone in that situation is really excited to see their ex with someone else, but you know, that’s not my choice…
I want her to be happy. I’m not her husband, neither am I her father, so she can do whatever makes her the happiest,” James shared.

He and Nadine Lustre shocked their fans after they announced their breakup in 2020. However, the former lovers are still good friends despite their breakup.
