DJ Loonyo whose real name is Rhemuel Lunio, became one of the latest celebrities to be bashed because of a fake news.
This time, a Facebook page called Bakkler made a fictitious quote card which made it seem like the popular social media personality was criticizing the first-ever Filipino to win a gold medal in the Olympics, Hidilyn Diaz.
Netizens were reposting the fake quote card and began bashing the innocent TikToker. Naturally, DJ Loonyo called out their behavior and told them to fact-check any news article before they peddle it as truth.

The talented dancer-choreographer also voiced out his real thoughts regarding Hidilyn's historic win at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
"Proud na proud ako sa kababayan natin [na si] Hidilyn Diaz at alam ko ang hirap at pagdurusa mairepresent lang ang bansa. Idolo at inspirasyon siya ng mga kabataan at atleta."

Rhemuel Lunio, known professionally as DJ Loonyo, is a Filipino professional disc jockey, choreographer, dancer and social media personality. He became popular for his TikTok dance videos and YouTube vlogs.
DJ Loonyo purchased a new house for his mom, whom he asked to retire from her work as a midwife. The TikTok star also gave her mother a brand new business – a lechon chicken store. He is grateful to his older brother for managing the new business for their family. They were able to sell 250 whole chickens to their customers during the first day of their soft opening.
DJ Loonyo was featured in the latest "condo raid" vlog update of Alex Gonzaga. For the condo raid, Alex pretended to be the house cleaner DJ Loonyo hired for his new condominium unit. During the raid, however, Alex went inside DJ Loonyo's bedroom and tried to open an item she found in the room.
