The husband of Anne Curtis reported he got his second dose of Sinovac recently but chose not to show it off.

“Finally fully vaccinated with my 2nd dose of Sinovac today. Apparently, if I would have gotten vaccinated with any of the other Big 4, it’s not socially acceptable to say it, because I would be showing off my privilege (people online need to chill... ),” Erwan wrote on his post.

He said that anyone inoculated with the anti-COVID vaccine is privileged, regardless of the brand.

“The way I see it, anyone getting vaccinated at this point, regardless of the brand, is privileged, so don’t be choosy. If you can get it, do it,” the restaurateur and husband of Anne Curtis, further wrote.

Erwan said that there are many people who have been waiting for several months to receive their vaccine dose in the Philippines.

He also said there are some people who have been waiting in line for countless hours, which even stretch to days, just to get their shots.

Erwan said that his company ordered Moderna some months ago but did not receive the shipment yet.

After some time, he decided to sign up as an A4 in Makati City. Erwan said he did this because he knew virtually almost all countries all over the world could start implementing a no-vaccine, no-travel policy.

The famous restaurateur then castigated those who hit the Sinovac vaccine.

“When did everyone become a vaccine expert?" Erwan asked in his post.

He then said he's tired of varied opinions on different social media platforms.

"At the end of the day Sinovac is still an effective Covid-19 vaccine. Whether it’s 50% or 95%, it’s still something," ” Erwan said.

He added that it doesn't mean that if one is already vaccinated, he can go ahead and start hugging strangers once more.

Finally, Erwan asked those who pitch in their ideas to just leave it all to the experts.

“Stop trying to be the smartest person in the room and listen to people who know what they are talking about (not me, the doctors)," he said.

The famous restaurateur also took note that all vaccine brands are now considering the need for booster shots with other brands because of the emergence of new variants.
