Andoy Ranay, the director who uttered the controversial ‘garbage’ shows statement finally broke his silence and explained his side.
In particular, he answered the statement of veteran actress Jaclyn Jose on her Instagram, lambasting him for uttering those words.
Earlier this week, Direck Andoy was asked what his feelings are after one year has passed by and yet there is still no renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise.
He said that the reason he stayed with ABS-CBN is because he believed that the content that the network is producing, whether they have franchise or not is world class quality.
Direk Andoy then added the famous words that later became a huge issue.
“So, aanhin mo ang franchise kung basura naman ang trabaho, wow!” the controversial director said.
Suzette Doctolero, a GMA screenwriter, believing that it was GMA network that Direk Andoy is referring to, immediately hit back, even though the director did not mention any names.
Subsequently, Jaclyn Jose also posted her own statement explaining to all, particularly Direk Andoy, that GMA talents work hard to produce good shows and that their work is not garbage.
In the recent video of Ogie Diaz in his YouTube channel Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update, he said that Direk Andoy gave a classy response to Jaclyn’s statement online.
“Kumare ko si Jane, and she should know me better,” Direk Andoy said according to Ogie Diaz.
Direk Andoy, however, did not provide any answer to the scathing post of Doctolero, castigating not only the statement of the director but also his person.
