The said post shows a photo of her smiling while in tears.

In the caption, she revealed that that she has been "crying more than usual" lately. This was after her therapist gave her an assignment which is to cry and connect with her sadness.

After the said post went viral, Maxene posted an IG story where she shared about her recent meditation.

She wrote:

Maxene Magalona is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. Her father is the late rap legend, Francis Magalona. The actress revealed in May 2020 that she has been seeing a psychiatrist due to her mental illness.

As previously reported by KAMI, Maxene admitted that she turned to alcohol and partying when her father, Francis Magalona died. This, after one of her followers asked her how did she deal with grief when she lost her dad. According to her, she felt like she lost the only person in the world who truly loved and understood her.

Earlier, Maxene shared an emotional post on her social media page. The post shows a photo of the actress looking sad while lying on the bed. "My body began to physically collapse," part of her caption reads.
