Angel Locsin recently expressed apprehension that her future husband might return the actress to her father if her hubby discovers she doesn’t know anything about cooking.

The actress also revealed some other details about why she entered showbiz.
Angel said that from the beginning, her main objective is to earn money for her family but now, she’s trying to focus more on herself.
“Siguro, ako muna. Ayusin ko muna yung sarili ko. Ayusin ko yung kasal ko. Mag-aaral ako magluto para hindi naman ako isauli ng asawa ko sa tatay ko,” the actress humorously said.
According to Angel, when she first entered the world of showbiz, she had no intention to stay in showbiz for a long time.
“Alam mo ba, dapat two years lang ako sa showbiz. Mag-iipon lang ako, tapos ipapaopera ko yung tatay ko,” the actress said.
She narrated that when she was already 75% into the targeted amount for her dad’s operation, the doctor told her he can’t be operated on anymore.
“Tapos nu’ng nakaipon na ako ng 75 percent, sinabi sa amin ng doctor na hindi na pwede i-operate. Ngayon, 94 na si Daddy. Pero nu’ng time na yun, mga 80 plus na si Daddy,” Angel said.
The actress that at the time, it seemed as if she lost her purpose in the entertainment industry.
“Medyo na-lost ako, wala akong purpose, hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin,” she revealed.
However, when she got the opportunity to work with veteran stars like Amy Austria and many more, she decided to stay.

Angelica Locsin Colmenares, better known as Angel Locsin, is a Filipino TV and movie actress, commercial model, film producer, as well as fashion designer. She was born on April 23, 1985 in Santa Maria, Bulacan, Philippines. She rose to fame for her TV role as Alwina in the fantaseries Mulawin, and later on as superheroine Darna. Angel was with GMA Network up to 2007 until she moved to rival ABS-CBN. She starred as Lyka in the network’s TV series Lobo, earning her an International Emmy Award nomination for her performance. She also appeared in various films like In the Name of Love and One More Try. She gained critical acclaim for her performances in both movies.

In a separate interview, Angel also bared that contrary to what others say that she started out in showbiz when she was discovered by a talent scout in a mall, she actually started out differently. While a talent scout did contact her and her family after seeing the actress in a mall, it was actually for a modeling gig and not for any acting performance. It was not until she accompanied a friend to an audition that she finally entered showbiz.
Angel also revealed that first auditioned at ABS-CBN, but it was Heart Evangelista who was chosen. She also revealed that she needed to hunch during the audition for actor John Prats. Despite not having been chosen, she still remained positive and was thankful that she got to stand beside John.
