Something big must be brewing in the local movie industry with the recent pronouncement of Angel Locsin on her social media account.

Recently, Angel hinted in a post of a project being planned that involved Marian Rivera.
It started with the innocent post of Angel showing a photo of her glowing face.
“Sweet like candy to your soul,” the actress wrote alongside her post.
Marian then commented on Angel’s post with three tulip emojis.
Angel then tagged Marian and replied to her emoji comment, saying: “@marianrivera tara na gawin na natin ang plano.”
The comment of Angel is enough to electrify netizens and celebrities alike.
Known fashion designer Mikmik Verbo immediately tagged Angel in a comment, where he said: “@therealangellocsin gawin niyo kung anong plano yan!”
Netizens joined in the discussion, with many of them obviously excited on what the plan is.
“Darna Multiverse? Yehey!” a netizen replied on Angel’s post while another said: “Both beautiful 2 Darna.”
Darna is a Filipino superheroine movie based on a story by popular writer Mars Ravelo.
Each of the Darna films produced went on to become blockbuster successes, with each raking in millions of pesos in revenue and thrusting actresses who portrayed Darna to greater heights.
Both Angel and Marian have portrayed the roles of Darna in separate films.

Darna is a popular Pinoy comics superheroine that first appeared in Pilipino Komiks. It is the work of famous writer, Mars Ravelo. The late writer was also the brains behind two other popular fictional characters, Dyesebel and Captain Barbell, which later went on to become huge movie successes.
The original artist of Darna is the late Nestor Redondo, who also became famous for his work for Marvel and DC Comics. Ravelo has revealed in the past that Darna is a modification of an earlier character, Varga, which appeared in Bulaklak Magazine on July 23, 1947. Since then, Darna went to become more famous than its original character, appearing in numerous films and TV series for many decades. Even if its creator has passed away, the character continued to live on through many actresses spanning several generations. They include Rosa del Rosario, Liza Moreno, Eva Montes, Gina Pareño, Vilma Santos, Lorna Tolentino, Rio Locsin, Sharon Cuneta, Nanette Medved, Anjanette Abayari, Regine Velasquez, Angel Locsin, and Marian Rivera.

The latest photo post of Angel has also electrified and made her fiancé, Neil Arce, very excited, though not in the “Darna” sense as most netizens and celebrities did. In the case of Neil, he could not help but admire more the actress’ recent look to the point that he commented on Angel’s post saying he no longer wants to work but wants to be with her instead. Angel eventually replied, asking her partner to calm down which had netizens laughing afterward.
Previously, Angel also reacted to the latest hairdo of fellow “Darna,” Marian Rivera. The 36-year-old Kapuso actress shared a photo of herself sporting some bangs, prompting many to point how much Marian and Zia Dantes looked alike. For her part, Angel commented “cutie” on Marian’s post.
