Robin Padilla has finally confirmed that his daughter, Kylie Padilla, and her husband, Aljur Abrenica, have separated.
On Wednesday, July 7, KAMI learned that Robin had a one-on-one interview with Kapamilya actor, Ogie Diaz.
During the interview, Ogie went ahead and asked Robin about Kylie and Aljur's issue which the actor eventually addressed.
"Una, walang sinasabi yung anak ko. Kasi yun naman, noon pa, lagi kong tinatanong si Kylie, 'Agrabyado ka ba?'
"O di naman daw, 'Okay lang ako Pa.' Tas ito, tinanong ko rin siya ulit, 'Anak, agrabyado ka ba?' 'Hindi pa, ako nakipaghiwalay eh,'" he revealed.

According to Robin, he did not meddle with the issue, "Wala naman papel ang tatay dun. Hindi ka dapat makialam. Away ng mag-asawa yun eh, may mga anak pa. Masakit syempre, sa akin."
In the vlog, the 51-year-old actor shared that at one point, Aljur was actually calling him, however, he chose to ignore it and instead, sent a message.
"Tsaka syempre walang sakitang pisikal, ako yun lang naman sinabi ko kay Aljur eh. Kasi tumatawag sa akin si Aljur eh.
"Di ko sinasagot, minessage ko lang siya. Sabi ko, 'Isa lang ang gusto ko, tumigil kayo sa social media, nakakahiya yan.'"

He then opened up about his sentiments over couples splitting up.
"Ako, para sa akin ah, ang dalawang mag-asawa na hindi na nagkasundo. Hindi kayo dapat maghiwalay ng magkaaway. Bakit? Nagmahalan naman kayo.
"Nasarapan naman kayo pareho. Bakit kailangan kayong magkaaway? Dahil yung dahilan, nagtaksil yung isa?
"Eh tao ka, mangyayari't mangyayari yan. Hindi yan pwedeng hindi mangyari. Kalokohan ang hindi mangyari lalo na't nasa showbiz tayo."
When Ogie asked if a third party was involved, Robin said there was, "Meron daw eh. Imposible ba yun? Yan ang sinasabi ko kay Kylie, 'Lalaki yan.'"
According to Robin, he understood what happened, "Natural! Sino ang maintindihan ko? Eh lalaki ako," he said to which Ogie commented, "At nangyari rin sayo yan."
"Ilang beses," Robin recalled, "Kaya lang, hindi na uso yun mga martyr na yun. Sinabi ko nga kay Kylie nung nag-usap kami, 'Lalaki yang asawa mo. Pasalamat ka nga alam mong lalaki eh.' Eh wala, hindi raw niya kaya," he said.
