Survivors ng C-130 crash, inalala ang last moments bago bumagsak: "Iba na lipad nya"

The survivors of the C-130 crash in Sulu, which took the lives of more than 50 individuals have finally aired their side of the story.
In GMA's "24 Oras," one of the survivors, Private Benjamin Obod Jr., was mourning the death of what he called as their "family."
"Hindi namin sila malilimutan... Halos magkapamilya na kami," said Obod.
He then said that because of the impact of the crash, everything was simply dark. Before the actual crash they were all shouting, "Lord, God, Lord, Jesus!"
Sergeant Abud Asmawil, another survivor said that the plane was not flying properly anymore.
"Iba na ang lipad niya, gumegewang," he narrated.
Another survivor, Private First Class Ganney Ligayan, said that they felt that the pilot hit on the brakes.
"Nag-brake pa 'tas umangat pa ulit. Pagtingin ko sa bintana may mga kahoy na," he said.
As per the same report, there have been 53 casualties. Survivors are still being treated.

The Philippine Air Force has had assets that figured in accidents. Approximately three decades ago, a similar C-130 PAF plane crashed in 1993. About 30 people perished in the said crash.

The family of one of the soldiers who perished in the C-130 crash in Patikul, Sulu revealed their kin was still able to make one final video call before the plane took off. His sister revealed her brother, who was a Private in the Philippine Army, always apprised them of his situation. She said her brother told them he would call again as soon as he arrives in Sulu.
The TikTok video of army soldiers boarding a C-130 plane has gone viral. The uploader of the video captioned it with "RIP" making it appear that it was the ill-fated C-130 plane that crashed in Patikul, Sulu. The viral TikTok video, however, did not show the tail number of the plane, making it difficult to verify its authenticity.
