Pres. Rodrigo Duterte did not like the statements made by Sen. Manny Pacquiao about corruption in the government.
The senator said that the present administration is more corrupt than the previous one, as per ABS-CBN.
Irked by the senator's pronouncement, the President then, openly challenged the senator to furnish him with a list of the offices that are deemed as corrupt.
"I'm challenging him. Ituro mo ang opisina na corrupt at ako na ang bahala. Within one week may gawin ako. Maglista ka, Pacquiao, na sinasabi mong two times kaming corrupt. Ilista mo ‘yung mga tao at opisina at dapat nilista mo na noon at ibigay mo sa akin," he said during Monday's press briefing, as reported as well in CNN.
In addition to the challenge, he threatened Pacquiao that he would be campaigning against the senator if the latter fails to furnish him with the said list, Inquirer noted.
