Pokwang was a special guest on the recent episode of the GMA program, “The Boobay and Tekla Show.”
KAMI learned that Pokwang cried hard not only during the interview but earlier in her dressing room.
When asked why she cried in her dressing room, the comedienne became emotional as she recalled the people who lost their jobs during the pandemic and after ABS-CBN, her former network, was shut down on television and radio.
The actress explained that she got emotional because she appreciates the opportunity given to her by the Kapuso network. She also expressed her appreciation for ABS-CBN for the past opportunities the network gave to her.
“Yung iyak ko sa dressing room, na-overwhelm ako. Siguro tears of joy kasi ang daming nawalan ng trabaho pero tayo andito may hanap-buhay tayo diba? Patuloy natin masusuportahan yung pamilya natin diba?
“Very thankful and very grateful. This is my first dressing room na tinanggap ako as Pokwang sa GMA.
“Yung iyak ko na yun, salamat sa nakaraan, salamat sa ngayon," Pokwang said.
