Gretchen Barretto recently had a heart-to-heart with renowned dermatologist Dr. Aivee Teo on the latter's vlog for her YouTube channel.
In the video, the dermatologist candidly revealed that contrary to popular belief, the actress has always been a rather private person.
"A lot of people think you're actually an extrovert because when you see Gretchen she's always laughing. She's always maingay but what you don't know is Gretch is also very private."

Gretchen also shared, "I choose to show what I want you to know but that doesn't mean that's what it is." Of course, the side she has shown to the public does not wholly depict her.
"That doesn't define you because Gretchen is much, much more than that," Dr. Aivee concurred. The dermatologist went on to say that Gretchen is a type of friend you won't easily forget.

Gretchen's sister, Claudine Barretto admitted that her parents experienced heartache due to the Barretto siblings’ controversies throughout the years. According to Claudine, she can relate to her parents’ heartache because as a mom, she also gets hurt when her children fight with each other.
