Kahanga-hanga ang 21-anyos na artist mula sa Leyte na si Connie Frances Fumar dahiln 'kalawang' ang ginagamit niya para makagawa ng mga portrait.
Kwento ni Connie, nasa elementarya pa lamang siya nang mahilig sa Art at naging inspirasyon niya ang kanyang ama.
Ngayon, ilang mga 'rust painting' na ang nagawa niya ng mga kilalang personalidad sa bansa tulad ni Senator Manny Pacquiao, Mayor Isko Moreno at maging ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

"I am Connie Frances Fumar you can call me “Fumar” in short. I am 21 years old Born in Alcantara, Romblon, Philippines the Marble Capital of the Philippines.
Currently living in Palo. Brgy. San Joaquin, Palo Leyte, Philippines. A 1st Yr. College of ACLC, taking a degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I started doing a masterpiece when I was elementary school year 2009. I’m inspired by my father’s house plan (Blueprint) he is not an artist, he is a Construction foreman based in Manila. Most of the time I do some basic sketches and mixing colors; but one day I try new mediums like acrylic, soft pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, leaf carving and other art mediums.
Now I finally discovered the best medium for me which is the 'Rust painting' (Kalawang in Filipino) and i have been using this for almost 3yrs and 2 months and I have portrayed different well knowed celebrities’ using this medium like Mayor Isko, Idol Raffy Tulfo and other was an international fashion designer like Sir John Guarnes, Palo, Leyte Mayor Ann Petilla and lastly, Jesus Christ who gave me this kind of gift.
That’s why I loved making masterpiece because for me every colors, every hue represent as “Hue”. For example the white color it represents cleanliness and the brown color represents dependability.
"Di sa lahat ng oras ay mabibili mo lahat ng gusto mong bilhin para lang makagawa ng isang obra all you need to do is to explore to your surroundings, be creative, unique and that will described as you as an artist."
