Veteran actress Elizabeth Oropesa may have a deep wound in her heart and she just opened up about it only now.
She revealed in a Facebook post that her father left them when she was born.
The heartbreaking reason was that, her father wanted a baby boy, not a baby girl.
When he left, he never came back for her nor for her mom. However, the actress said that she still prays for him every single day.
This time around, she greeted him with, "Happy Father's Day!"
"My Dad left us when I was born. He wanted a boy. He never came back. I still pray for him every day. Happy Father's Day Daddy."
Elizabeth Oropesa is a Filipino former actress. She has won several acting awards. When she was younger, she was Miss Luzon of the Miss Republic of the Philippines. This was in 1972.
