Ogie Alcasid shares old photo with wife, Regine Velasquez
- Ogie Alcasid recently took to social media to post an old photo with his wife, Regine Velasquez
- In the photo, Ogie can be seen hugging Regine while they were surrounded by friends which included fellow OPM singer, Jaya
- Ogie captioned his post by jokingly saying that the picture was taken when he and Regine were only friends
- However, Ogie revealed that they were already together when the photo was taken

Ogie Alcasid recently shared an adorable old picture of him and his wife and fellow OPM artist, Regine Velasquez, on his Instagram page.
In the photo, the singer-songwriter shared, Ogie can be seen with his arms wrapped tightly around Regine's waist. They were also joined by some of their friends which included, OPM icon, Jaya.
Ogie also penned a short caption for the photo which explains that the picture was taken when he and Regine were just friends.

Ogie then clarified that he was joking and confirmed that the two of them were already a couple during the time the photo was captured.
"#tbt with dear friends @jaya @sushireyes @zebzun and @reginevalcasid yes friends pa lang kami. Kaya lang ni hold ko sya baka kasi mahulog…. sa akin. Aysus. joke lang kami na nyan hehe [sic]"

Herminio Jose Lualhati Alcasid Jr., known professionally as Ogie Alcasid, is a popular singer, songwriter, television host, and actor from the Philippines. He is widely known for his songs, 'Nandito Ako' and 'Pangako'. He used to be married to former Miss Australia, Michelle van Eimeren and was separated in 2017. Ogie married fellow OPM singer, Regine Velasquez in 2010.

Ogie also created a song out of the now-popular term “lugaw is essential”. The term trended on social media for several days and have been subject to many memes. It came about after Malacañang announced that “lugaw is essential” after a barangay official prevented a delivery rider from entering the barangay.
KAMI also reported that Regine Velasquez shared with “Magandang Buhay” about the challenges their family faced due to the pandemic. The singer revealed that the death of Ogie’s father was among the most difficult they faced. She said that Ogie was able to see his dad for the last time in March 2020.
