Anne Curtis may have all the good intentions in the world when she tagged Rabiya Mateo in her Twitter post, only that she was sending it to the wrong Rabiya.
The actress, who posted a long congratulatory tweet, tagged a person whom she thought was the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidate, only that Rabiya did not have any Twitter account.
It was later determined by some netizens, such as beauty queen MJ Lastimosa, that Anne actually fell victim to a poser of Rabiya.
MJ even called out the poser and jokingly asked if he or she could give her a shout-out.
It was a pity as the tweet of Anne was so sweet that it would have made Rabiya smile and give her an additional boost.
“Before the day ends, just wanted congratulate and thank @rabiyamatteo for giving her all representing the Philippines at this years' Miss Universe! We are all proud of you! Thank you again for your hard work! Please stay safe and now is the tie to enjoy and relax!” Anne tweeted.
Now, it appears that the poser may be laughing in earnest upon being tagged in the tweet. The poser’s delight might be short-lived, however, as netizens could now report his or her account so it could be suspended.
If that happens, Rabiya, Anne, and MJ may have the last laugh yet.

After Neil confirmed the breakup with Rabiya, the Ilongga beauty queen took to Instagram and posted a new photo several hours after her BF’s announcement. She was smiling in the photo, giving a natural glow that is prevalent among beauty queens. She captioned the photo with, “As you travel, you get to experience what life truly means.” The beauty queen was in Castello di Amorosa in Napa Valley, California.
A few moments after Rabiya posted that particular photo, MJ Lastimosa, whom the Miss Universe Philippines calls “manang, which is an Ilonggo term for ate, teased the Ilongga beauty queen. MJ commented that Rabiya may be laughing now but will cry later.
