Actress-comedienne Pokwang took to social media to express her gratitude for all the blessings that she continues to receive.

She recently announced she’s going back to work and revealed that she does not even know if she deserves all these blessings and answered prayers.

“Goodmorning. Minsan di ko alam talaga kung deserve ko nga talaga lahat ng biyaya at mga dasal na sinasagot mo Lord God,” Pokwang wrote on her post.

Like many other celebrities, Pokwang was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, which plunged the entire country into deep economic chaos and caused a health crisis of epic proportions.

Despite what happened, the comedienne continued to be grateful for all things that came to pass, whether good or bad.

In her post, she mentioned she’s just glad to have survived all the bad things that happened.

“Pero sa pagkakaalam ko nararapat lang na ikay pasalamat sa lahat ng ganap sa aking buhay maganda man o hindi dahil alam ko lahat ng ito ay pagmamahal mo ang dahilan kaya naririto ako at nakaka survive. I love you at salamat po..... #Backtowork,” Pokwang wrote.

Pokwang, or Marietta Subong in real life, is a Pinay comedian, actress, singer, and television host. She started her showbiz career with an ABS-CBN reality show. Subsequently, she began appearing in various TV soaps and sitcoms of the network. In 2007, she won as Best Comedy Actress for her role in Aalog-Alog during the 21st Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for TV. She again won the same distinction in 2011 during the 26th PMPC Star Awards for TV for her role in Toda Max. She also won the Best Female Comedian award from the People's Choice Awards. Pokwang was also co-host of variety shows like Wowowee, Pilipinas Win na Win and Happy Yipee Yehey.

The comedienne could not help mentioning those places in her frank post.

Several days ago, Pokwang and her daughter Malia Francine, nicknamed Tisay, delighted netizens as they danced and grooved to the music. Tisay kept making faces on the camera while Pokwang tries to catch the attention of her daughter and get her back to dancing. Lee O’Brian, the husband of Pokwang whom she fondly calls Papang Lee, sat on the couch watching them. The family appeared to be in the living room of their home.
