Pokwang took to social media to air her thoughts on COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Antipolo where she and her family reside.

In a frank Twitter post, the comedienne lamented over slow vaccination pace in the said area.
“haaayyyy kailan kaya kami mapapabakunahan? wait and wait and waiting parin,” she said.

She furthermore said that her friends from other places like Quezon City, Pasig and Makati have already vaccinated.
“buti pa yung mga kaibigan ko sa QC, Pasig, Makati, Malabon, Manila, Pasay, Parañque, San Juan, etc... nakapag pa bakuna na.”
“kami sa Antipolo, NGA NGA!!!!” Pokwang added.

Pokwang, or Marietta Subong in real life, is a Filipino comedian, actress, television host and singer. She was born on August 27, 1970. The actress started out as a reality star on ABS-CBN and eventually appeared in dramas and sitcoms of the network.
She also received the Best Comedy Actress award from the Philippine Movie Press Club for her portrayal in the sitcom "Aalog-Alog" and the Best Female Comedian award from People's Choice Awards.

Pokwang has been vocal recently in expressing her thoughts on current issues, particularly the ongoing pandemic. She then took to social media to air her message to some DDS or supporters of the current administration.
Earlier, Pokwang slammed Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque’s earlier statement regarding the ongoing pandemic and the country’s economy. Roque stated that Filipinos have been on a year-long “vacation” due to the pandemic.
