Heart Evangelista had a sophisticated response to a basher calling her ugly during her Instagram Live. The basher posted, "Ang pangit mo!" to which Heart answered with a classy, "Thank you so much!"
The actress also wondered after she read the negative comment why bashers insist on watching her videos if they hate her.
“Alam mo minsan hindi ko maintindihan, bakit nahahaluan ng basher? If they hate me so much, stop watching.”

When Heart saw a comment from a fan telling her not to mind the basher, the actress clarified that she isn't really affected by such negativity.
“No, I don’t mind them, it’s okay. I’m so used to being bashed actually. There was a time in my career that I’m just bashed so much every day and that really would bother me.”
According to her, she feels like blessings tend to come and great things happen whenever people are bashing her so she really does not mind being bashed.
"I really proved one day if every bash is equivalent to a blessing and I had nothing at that time and they still kept on going, kept on going until all these great things started to happen. [sic]"
"So, guys, it’s okay to be bashed, believe me."
