Former Ms. Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters has revealed she is more than four months pregnant with her first child.
Rachel is currently in a relationship with Migz Villafuerte, Camarines Sur Governor and the son of Congressman Luis Ray Villafuerte.
In an Instagram post, the former beauty queen shared the happy news along with a topless photo of herself at a beach, showing off a noticeable baby bump.
She captioned the photo with words full of love for the growing infant inside her tummy.
“18 weeks of growing and loving you. You’re a dream come true our little chickpea,” Rachel wrote by way of a caption.
Rachel and Gov. Migz got engaged in 2019, however, they decided to postpone their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her Instagram post was inundated with congratulatory messages, which include those from fellow queens Miss Earth 2013 Megan Young, Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2015 Christi McGarry, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, and Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados.

Rachel Louise Peters, more popularly known as Rachel Peters, is a Filipino-British model, host, and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2017 and finished as part of the Top 10 finalists in Miss Universe 2017. She was born on October 20, 1991 in Bahrain to parents Nigel Peters and Annie Obregon. Her father is British while her mother is Filipino. She has a younger brother named Daniel. Their family manages a concert promotion company who caters shows across Southeast Asia. Peters graduated from the British International School, Phuket in Thailand with an International Baccalaureate degree, and earned her bachelor's degree in business, tourism, and events from La Trobe University.

In 2017, Rachel was among the candidates who underwent a closed door panel interview, the results of which will contribute to their pre-finals standing.
