Jam Magno, who is known for making inflammatory remarks, has once again dropped a controversial message on Twitter about Rabiya Mateo.

The influencer called out Rabiya because of her national costume. Jam, apparently did not understand the law she mentioned as evident by her tweet, "Funny how you make a shady comment about the Government but didn’t seem to know one important Law: to never make use of our flag as a Costume other than put it on a Flagpole."

According to the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines (R.A. 8491), it is against the law to wear the Philippine flag. However, Rabiya was not wearing the flag at all. She was wearing a national costume inspired by the Philippine flag.

Atty. Tony Roman III who often gives counsel and legal information on TikTok explained why Rabiya was within the law to wear a Philippine flag-inspired national costume.

Jam received backlash because of her mistake which netizens enthusiastically pointed out to her. Netizens also bashed her for hoping that Miss Thailand wins the Miss Universe.
