Alessandra De Rossi recently took to Twitter to warn those who are fond of making jokes, even to mere acquaintances or people they have just met.
The actress said that people on the receiving end of jokes might not take the joke lightly and those could even trigger something nasty.

She advised that it would be better if people would make a joke on a drunk person, or even those who just woke up.
“Like I always say... Lokohin mo na lasing, pati bagong gising kung gusto mo,” the actress said.
Alessandra said the wisdom of not making a joke on someone that she has just met or friend that is not close to her is that she does not know what they’re going through.
“Wag sa di mo ka-close. Di mo alam pinagdaanan nila. Baka may triggers sila, feeling close ka,” Alessandra explained.
She also cautioned people to choose their words carefully. “Ingat sa words,” she said.
When asked as to what her trigger is, she said those nosy people who don’t know what she’s going through.
“Anong trigger ko? Pakialamera na walang alam sa pinagdaanan ko,” the actress said.
Alessandra de Rossi, or Alessandra Schiavone de Rossi in real life, is a Filipino actress and the younger sister of actress Assunta de Rossi. She was born on July 19, 1984, and rose to fame for her roles in the TV series !Oka Tokat and in the 1997 film Magic Kingdom. She won the FAMAS Awards Best Supporting Actress for her role in Azucena. Alessandra has always been very vocal and stout about her beliefs on social media. The actress recently responded to a netizen that she is not afraid of failures because she is already one. The actress's sentiment has baffled some netizens as Alessandra has achieved a lot in her career as she has earned accolades and awards for her riveting performances. A netizen also expressed her support for Alessandra and told her that she is not a failure and praised her for her strength of character.
She also recently tweeted about the society’s negative perception towards women who are unmarried and do not have children. Each woman has her own path and it does not need to be the same as others’ paths, Alessandra said. The star added that being married and having children should not be viewed as the main essence of being a woman. However, she clarified that she has no problem if a woman finds true happiness in getting married and having kids.
